Dr. Patrick McCormick wins Young Investigator of the Year Award with PET

Together we celebrate with Dr. Patrick McCormick of the University College London, for winning the 2017 Young Investigator of the Year Award at this year’s World Molecular Imaging Congress (WMIC) in Philadelphia, PA. His work in tumor redox imaging using PET and the data gathered led to the prestigious award.

“The findings from this study suggest that our method will be able to detect subtle biochemical changes that precede the desired clinical outcome, namely tumor shrinkage, offering the potential of our technique in both clinical chemotherapy treatment decisions, as well as in the screening of new, more effective chemotherapeutics,” said Dr. Patrick McCormick.

We’ll always celebrate the accomplishments of our colleagues in the field; their success is our success! From the doctors to the scientists in the labs, from early diagnosis to treatment, when we work together, we accomplish so much together.
